The Morbid Fashion is officially on a hiatus, but I have good news! My husband and I just launched a new webshow version of The Morbid Fashion called Subtle Goth TV!
There are 3 episodes up so far and many more to come!
Episode 1: An Introduction to Patterns for Goths
Episode 2: Black and White Stripe Inspiration for Your Home (Pilot)
Episode 3: 5 Gothic Fashion & Decor Items Under $50
For The Morbid Fashion readers some of the themes for upcoming videos may seem familiar as we’ll be addressing old topics, but most of this will be new ideas or ideas that I could never tackle properly in written blog form.
Feel free to send questions, episode theme ideas, etc. when they come to mind. Think of this show as a better, visual version of my blog posts from The Morbid Fashion.
If you like what we’re doing and would like to see this show grow, then please subscribe, like and share the videos. It will help us out immensely.
Live long and prosper,
Zellain

Here it is, the follow-up to my Surviving Rainy Weather post from a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to do something a little bit different for this shopping post follow-up. Instead of throwing a couple ShopStyle widgets on the page overflowing with endless inspiration I ended up putting together one basic kit of accessories to wear through the rainy season. I also gave explanations for why I think each piece I chose works well with the other pieces. Let me know what you think of this new format in the comments below.

We have covered black and white stripe patterns in fashion a few times here on The Morbid Fashion (here & here for instance). Now we are taking a look at black and white stripe inspiration for your home. From the simple touches of adding a striped rug or towel to your kitchen, to the grand examples of meticulously striping your entire entryway.

I think it would be nice to be able to wear extravagant hats, and gloves, and all these extravagant clothes and not be on the street and not be mocked for it or questioned why. … If you wear a fantastic hat during the day in the street people say ‘where are you going? why are you dressed like that?’ and it’s maybe the most annoying question in the world. Why do we have to have a reason to dress up or to be glamorous or to have fun? Why do we have to have a reason for it? I hate it when people ask me why. Why not?
